Looking through the feedback we got from the Acai berry post which you can read here: What is Acai and how what do we know about its nutrition?  we at the Keepeat App decided to give you a recipe on how to make your own Acai bowl.

This is a recipe for one person i.e. one Acai bowl.

You need the following:

Acai base

  • 1 dl unsweetened almond milk (if you prefer a creamier Acai bowl, you can also use natural oatmeal)
  • 1 dl frozen mixed berries (raspberries and blueberries are our recommendation)
  • 1 banana
  • 0.5 dl Acai powder

Toppings

  • a few slices of banana
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 fist of mulberries
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • Coconut chips
  • 1 teaspoon of peanut butter

How to do it:

Mix the almond milk, banana, frozen berries in a mixer for 1 minute. Thereafter, put the mix in a bowl and garnish it with the toppings as per the recipe and voila it’s ready to eat!
